de 2nd term - overview

right, in a wk's time i've forgot everything about metals and switch from a metallurgist to a pottery master. Ceramics. that's the theme of this term. the other one is a cambridge engineering selector course (which makes CESC in short... geez... does it remind anyone else of a guy called fabregas?) we've worked with CES in melbourne uni, but the course is promising to be in greater depth :)

de ceramics course is not given in chalmers. which means we had to travel one hr on bus to lectures (from chalmers, from my house it's 1.5hrs...). and which also means they make the lectures packed in certain days... and which then means we had three consecutive 7am - 6pm days last week... it's so tiring i din want to do anything after i got home but still have to go through the ever piling lecture materials :P and guess the price for single trip bus tickets... 40kr (~RM20) >.< but the bus drivers always just wave me off, haha... maybe as anO says, i have refugee face...

the name tag we need to wear while visiting ivf for de ceramics course

planning to apply for swedish course. heard that the queueing time is more than 3 months. so if i'm lucky i'll be able to start in february. at the mean time, well, read more and listen more...

again something funny, instead of trying to make me eat more, my landlady and her daughter are now constantly trying to make me work less... "why are you always working working working?"... "you should go out more!"... "dont work so much it's not good for your health."... "12 o'clock, still working. 1 o'clock, 1.30, still working..." nearly gave her another heart attack when i told her i usually work til 3 or 4 when i'm serious, haha... well, i still have no intention to change that this term. work hard, play hard! i do play! and i play when i work, i work when i play ^^

oh yeah, one unexpected good news this morning. the only malaysian that i've met so far so happens to move into de student residence opposite my place! ^^ we met again for the 2nd time this morning and got all excited, haha~

another unexpected good news that made me explode with joy. but it's not related to the 2nd term and this post is getting very long already ^^ see if we have space for it next time~

ah, just one more thing~ it's snowing in the north of sweden already. and snow forecast for göteborg on de coming saturday ^^
