random walks

zhong xiao dong lu zou 9 bian~~ power station's duet voices rings.
wish i could type chinese :P

zzzzzzzzz
made up for the lack of sleep ^^
more local delicacies before anything else. shui3 jian1 bao1 and zhu1 rou4 jian1 bing3. the former is buns fried on a pan heated by steam, which gives it its name i suppose; while the later is something like pork chop with lettuse and onion wrapped in a piece of roti canai and cut into pieces. erm... pictures will tell it better, later, later, k ^^ soya milk to go with them.

long shan si today, had some really nice blended ice there! dou4 hua1 and taro~~ the historical site which dates back to the qing1 dynasty - bo1 pi2 liao2 was unfortunately close on monday. so we walked all the way to zhong1 zheng4 ji4 nian4 tang2, just to see the piece which was removed by ex-president chen2 shui3 bian3 and restored by current president ma ying jiu XD didnt really expect that zi4 you2 guang3 chang3 poses such a view :) we lingered til sunset and got a few nice shots there. found that their history museum is having a san1 guo2 expo, and thought we should definitely find some time to go back!

then we went back to guang3 zhou1 jie1 for our first taiwanese night market experience. it was ofcoz as well documented on those taiwanese game shows. every thing that is suppose to be there was there. we had some sweet potato balls, (fresh) wintermelon milk tea, tian2 bu2 la4 and stopped over for xiao3 long2 bao1 from a near by shop. truely a heaven for food!

good~ since i'm not writing a physical travel log this time, might as well do it on this blog ^^ scanning thru internet for the next stop to stay over in the rest of our trip. see ya here again soon.

hello taipei!

it's been a while since i last blogged. but hey, free internet and computer use from the homestay place we bunk over? might as well get the max value out of it :)

homestay is definitely the best kind of accom if you are travelling taiwan. affordable prices (ours'at RM50pp), warm hospitality, cosy and carefully decorated environment, free and easy style which base a lot on trust from both the host and the hostee!

flight delayed for 2 hrs but nyah, just had a good nap in the airport. otherwise everything went remarkably smooth. got ourselves registered as youth travellers, hopped onto a taipei bound bus and got to this place without a single step wrong. 1st impression of this place is definitely great! after setting down our luggages, we went to the underground streets to look see look see and grab some food. we had lu3 rou4 fan4~~ hey! lu rou fan for our first dinner wei~~ costs a mere RM2.50. we also shared a bowl of shui3 jiao3 tang1 which taste a bit different as we suspected that they use japanese soup base, tastes yummy anyway~~

bro yang is exhausted, not sure whether he'd made his way to the shower by now. he spent last night up searching for info for the trip on internet, good boy ^^

cant find a card reader around. photos have to wait i'm afraid ;) nO, will eat more food for you~
