on Budapest

huge effort by kimi to qualify 4th!!

the worst thing about that is he's now going to start on the dirty side of the track...and it's really dirty in Budapest...but given the strong starts that macca's made so far this yr, we wont think that he'll be overtaken by ralfy at the start... but the problem is mr. jarno trulli... if we can get him early, it would be sweet, but it would be difficult to do so...

same story with jpm, having qualified P2, he's on the dirty side too -___-

to be optimistic, this is me prediction!
1st corner: 1.juan 2.ms 3.kimi 4.trulli 5.ralf 6.alon-slow.....
2nd corner: 1.juan 2.kimi 3.ms 4.trulli 5.ralf 6.alon-slow.....
1st lap: 1.juan 2.kimi 3.trulli 4.ralf 5.alon-slow..... ms pits for fuel, remember? wakaka~~~
2nd lap: 1.kimi 2.juan 3.trulli 4.ralf 5.alon-slow.... juan ran a bit wide at turn 1 =P
3rd lap: 1.kimi 2.juan 3.trulli 4.ralf 5.rubens 6.button 7.fisi 8........ 20 alon-slow (DNF)
4th lap: 1.kimi 2.juan 3.......... 19.fisi (double DNF for renault... for our constructor's championship's sake, sorry fisi~~^^)
.......
70th lap: 1.kimi 2.juan 3.the rest i dun really care.... hopefully button
and that's the finishing order! kimi's 6th win! again, i still cant blieve he's only got five =_=

back to reality, i know u dun blieve in luck, but u need them kimi. it's a term which says u'll hav a smoother journey. good luck!

yet another "sunny" day

we ice-agers hate sunny days.... coz ice usually melts on sunny days....
but in this case, under the worst posible sun - hydraulic failure and retiring from P1, the ice didnt melt... the ICEMAN stayed cool! too cool!! it was scary...

kimi simply parked his car outside the racing line, walked out of his MP4-20, and calmly mount the steering wheel back on. no banging around, no throwing things away... after the frustration we saw on his face in the two previous GPs, when fernando had only pinched 2 pts away from him in each occation, we cant help but wonder wot was going on under that helmet of his this time... and leaving the motor home through the back door of the kitchen like that, avoiding all the media... it must hav been quite tough for him... feel like giving him a big hug... dun push urself too much mate!

having said that, the rest of the gps are getting more and more difficult for us... 36 pts difference/7 gps aint fun, but it's still doable!! i thought kimi would hav 5-6 more wins, but his car has to be super reliable. 7 straight from now on will be sweet!! make it 10 in a season rakka!!

val (can i call u val? ), thanx for dropping by, i presume u r one of the CARIans? keke~~^^

le Tour de Merri Creek

the bike trip we've been talking about since autumn is finally underway~~~ destination had been set (randomly) to be the Dight Fall 7.4km away from where we joint the Merri Creek trail, ~250m away from teng's house. Off we go~~~
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
the number of traillers, walking or biking along the Merri Creek trail has taken me by surprise! And everyone we've been talking to the whole day seems to be very praiseful when it comes to this enormous park that stretches i really dunno from where to where!! and they know their park well! we know that bcoz we've been asking for direction at almost every km we travel... *^*

and u know wot? we actually went off course as early as the 300th m =_= and it's not without a good reason! we could see K.C.Brown's speciality standing high on a hill at the 200th m, so we were distracted. ok, who is that kcbrown? he is our power regeneration lecturer, and fair enough we saw a very high tech windmill... so we went up hill to check things out...
up hill, there's an energy saving "green" housewhole that ppl actually lives in. we visited it and signed the guess bk as "students of Ken Charles Brown", wakaka~~ stepping out of the house, we saw...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
omg, bsides all these windmill, water flywheel blablabla, they hav stuffs like these... i used "these" instead of "this" bcoz there are more similar freaky stuffs lying around... and u know wot... there are also farms and nurseries... very happening oh!! ( and very smelly... yuck...)

the background of the freaky zink fish photo is actually a local market. where ppl sells almost everything they think can earn them money... for example...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
well, my shadow in the pic is not for sale ofcoz... they sell alot of veggies, knit wears, sewing machines, soaps, used bikes, coffee blablabla...

oh, enough of that, head back to our trail~ u think to travel 7.4km with a bike is easy? oh u really think so? try this slope mate!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
scared??? oh poor thing, i'm so sorry... bcoz... the worse is yet to come... there's actually a slope where bikers are asked to dismount =_= and tht's not all, the worst part is we keep going the wrong way....

on our way there, we see a lot of thing la~ like stupid signboard that ask ppl to leash their dogs and tells ppl that snakes are everywhere during oct - march period... and then a very nicely done graffiti art on a bridge pillar... chih feng mate broke his bike's rear axel but managed to continue on... we cross wooden bridges that if u sit on ur seat when u cross, ur butt will be very sorry... and this...

clover tells us it's irish, the word dublin tells us this i forgot his name guy came from dublin, the irish words on top probably tells the irish folks more. rest in peace mate~

after i dunno how long, dunno how many wrong road hav we attempted and dunno how many kind hearted traillers hav we seeked help from, we finally reach our destination!!! yay~~~ as a proof, we thought we better take a pic! ^^

lets picnic while we enjoy the scenary shouldn't we?
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
helmets off, mat spreaded, start munching~~~

oh no! it's starting to rain!!!
hurry home!!!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

ah, there's no time for cycling, how about hopping onto a train?
take a train it is!!! geez... but where is the station??? start asking for direction again... got titik by a few guys, who we think intented good, thanks anyway coz with ur help, we managed to find Clifton Hill Station~~
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
and off to Flinders St. Station~~ and transit there to somewhere closer to home, or in Chih Feng's case, Cash Converters, haha. after that axel failure, he is selling his bike~~

teng and i still cant escape the faith of cycling home wet from Moreland station. it's super chilly but fun, haha... tht brings the end ^^

Splash!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
a fountain, created overnight, woke me up this morning...
rather amused by the sight of water defying the law of gravity, i captured it and went back to bed... zzz...
sleeping is larger than life, ne?

oh, forgot to mention, it's still 2nd stage water restriction in melbourne...

ah, yummy dumplings are waiting for me~ awaiting the arrival of tomorrow morning~~~

1st post on a new blog

deciding that i was probably too slack with the old blog, i here by announce the birth of a new hiding, which i dont suppose i'll keep it in good nick anyway, haha~~

hopefully i will successfully transfer all the important links, and also the good "karma" from the old blog here ^^

dedicating this blog to kimi and his MP4-20, i've chosen the silver and black of the mighty McLaren as theme colour. and perhaps a touch of green for the environmentalists ^^

fasten ur seat belts and enjoy the speed!
