the way home from thailand

lets start by introducing my best buddy~ june ^^
all geared up with the 32L deuter backpack, and a camera in her hand to shoot the photo below~ backgrounded by the raft houses on the river kwai, in kanchanaburi, 2hrs bus away from bangkok towards the border of myanmar.

take the opportunity to thank her here also~ for flying to bangkok to giv me such a wonderful company all the way home :D and took the trouble to plan the trip :D though i usually dun thank her wotever she does for me, wahaha~

and that's me shooting her, equiped with a map a camera and my faithful kathmandu backpack ^^

here you have the famous bridge over the river kwai, which was shot
into a movie, which is also the starting point of the death railway... the reason for me to go to kanchanaburi.

on the 2nd day in kancanaburi, we went to erawan, a national park famous for the 7 steps waterfall. it is another 2hrs away by bus. and the waterfall calls for an average of 3hrs to complete the hike and back.

wonderful place eh? we decided to go back there for a double date someday ^.^

no, we din fall into the pools... we decided to continue our downhill hike while it was raining XD

war cemetry for the australian and british war prisoners, who died laying the death railway... just a representative of some serious stuff :P
