scotland de final post

a tiny inconsequential problem of being so efficient and full of hype with work last week is... now i have time to blog at work~ insomnia takde things to do oso got up to write report that type ah XP it is all coming to an end now, juz waiting for some results to be filled in... waiting for materials to age 1000hrs... waiting for the creep experiment to run for 72hrs... waiting for 5th May's meeting with supervisors to decide the full content of the report... we've written too much they say... haiz, wot do u expect? some 13 different experiments... i still wonder at how we managed them in 3 months ^^... waiting... the essence of work~ ^^

finish the last bag pipe land post ba~ had i use the term "bag pipe land" to call it ha? i forgot XP

anyway, on the 6th late morning, we got back to inverness. it was yet another rainy day, and we spent the morning in a shopping complex, with one of those mechanical clock thing for children ^^

and the book shop where i read that woods listening and star gazing irish king's quote ^^ naruto and co also invaded this part of the world~

then we went to have our last lunch in brave heart land. in a restaurant at the waterfront of river ness!!! eeek! wot luxury ^^

7pounds for a two course meal~ tsk tsk tsk... where to find? (i mean in sweden :P) yean was addicted to fish and chips, and i was having salad with mozzarella cheese and morrocan chicken with apricot couscous, apricot wei~~~~ i tell u, everything taste wonderful on a trip like this ^^

then with full belly, we were travelling south on four wheels again :) and more rainbow...

and have you forgot that i'm snow cursed? it's proven true again... nah, snow in april, draping the snow caps whiter and heavier in the background of the farms ^^


and ter-caught a glimpse of stirling castle, which is of a fame with edinburgh castle and urquhart castle~

and after almost a week, we are back in SAF's hometown glasgow~

solo hallucination walk again~ ^^
the modern art museum, and its silhoutte ^^ pity it couldnt be fitted into the schedule...

and was back with the running legs at buchanan station when the last scottish sun said goodnite. dinner was biscuits and that strawberry triffle again~~ i loved it so much i went back specifically for it XD

prestwick was a good airport to spend overnight ^^ warm enough, and plenty of benches to choose from. tho there are the hastles of ppl arriving and leaving all the time :P

our time came, and an early flight took us back to gothenburg de nxt morning. here we ended the week long scotland trip :)

aiya... still 4pm oni ah, have to wait for another hour to take out the aging sample :P shall go running this evening~

话说，我们赶上了那一趟巴士。。。
to urquhart castle~~
we had our late lunch at the hill overlooking the castle by the loch, or to be more precise, castle ruin actually ^^ digestive biscuits and the last drops of those we carried in the bottles XP delicious anyway, given how hungry we were ^^ although we've had 2.5 chocolate bars each that morning and we've already downed so many sour snakes (a kind of gummy candy) on the bus~

then we started to drumnadrochit, where we would finally rest our kesian legs XD
the delta where two river mouths at drumnadrochit feed into loch ness. but we had a while more to go... are we there yet?...
(i wasnt really complaining, look at the crazy landscape!)

and finally we saw that landmark fire station beside our 歇脚地 for the nite! our only private room of the trip! there, the middle window on the 2nd floor, wot a reward! ^^


yean thought she prefered to stay back and enjoy our only nite with tv ^^ so i went to fetch our dinner while exploring drumnadrochit a little ^^
and found nessie!!! XD

anyway, dinner was fish and chips from the kampung of the original fish and chips~~~ and a basket of sweet juicy plums~ i cant tell u how much i enjoyed that meal XD we've wolfed everything down before i could think of taking any picture XD

we were obviously away from the world for a few days, and the 1st piece of news from outside world we received via the tv, was the terrible quake in italy. and via the tv, i also watched my first MU game on tv in X many months! (i usually watch jumping frames online ma...) champion's league, vs porto in OT~ oiyoyoy! tmr play the gunners kids~~~ chelsea barca playing... comp batt nak die dy, cannot watch X| tmr must remember to bring power cables home... this is wot happen when thesis room becomes my 1st home and my home my 2nd, haha... my neighbour making a lot of noise again, must be watching that match... we should go back to de post, must finish before batt dies XD

we go to day 6 breakfast ba... told u this is the best we stayed at T.T

weetbix... so aussie man! ^^


and then off we went~ goodbye nessie lake~~~

aiks, forgot to tell story about urquhart castle and "brave heart" O.o nvm la, u go watch urself XD

up next, the finale~ back to inverness~ then back to glasgow and back to gbg!
sounds boring to rewind? i guarantee u not XD at least it wasnt for me :) hang on with me ^^
