phnom penh is not as bad as first thougt, just tht last night alone there were 3 blackouts >.<
the famous killing field is a bit dissapointing, but it's still fascinating to see thousands and thousands of skulls pilled up in one place =P
the feeling at the first sight of the great mekong river is undescribable... the mekong in geography text books, the mekong i always wanted to see! hope fully we can see more of mekong delta in saigon, our nxt destination =)

the river in the pic is actually Tonle Sap River **blush** it's really like semenyih died chicken river la, smells like penang guan1 zi jiao3......=.= it's another means of travelling from siem reap to phnom penh, very important for cambodians de. if i swim there, i might as well end up in one of the mass grave in killing field la...
tuk tuk is a cheaper option of taxi, home made taxi ~lol

still remember that in CH we studied that Tonle Sap is one of the main reasons that that region can be prosperous, earlier civilizations used it a lot.
All this while "Tonle Sap" remained kind of pristine, full of fishes that fishermen go out at dawn to reap a rewarding harvest...
your pic shattered my imagination. but it made me want to go Indochina more~
