Paris day 1 and 2

wanted to continue about sergio who i met at de beach in barcelona. but it will somehow leads to another story about juhani, a finn that i met in madrid a few days later... then it will become a long story, haha... i'll hav to arrange things in my head and better tell these stories vocally when we see each other :)

so, lets go to paris for this post~
i passed de famous Moulin Rouge on de way to de youth hostel... which means... de red light district >.< the exposure level was really.... speechless... and a whole long street full of them... @.@||| din dare to stop for pictures since i was a lone female traveller...

ther's a lot of very elaboratedly decorated buildings in Paris, but ok i'll focus on the attractions this time ^^

eiffel tower, it reminded me very much of one particular number... 7850... ask any engineer or scientist in the right field and he/she'll tell you that is de density of steel ^^ loads of steel!!!!

it's strange to realise suddenly wot kind of a person i'm growing into...
i thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart... for steering me into this direction :)

pray to have the strength and determination to keep on flying
even if it depends merely on a pair of broken wings...

Marseille - a mediterranian port city

sorry to jump here and there :P but we can first go to marseille for a change of scenery ^^

i remained on the beach until night fall ^^ which means around 9.30pm~

we were calling this a 0:0 or 1:1 draw right after knowing sweden's result in a kebab store in madrid ^^ david villa doesnt agree and scored in de 92nd min~~~

WE ARE IN! WE ARE IN!!! most likely avoiding de formidable netherlands :P and it's great to see elnino scoring for spain again ^^ de swedish defence had been great but we have de best strikers~~ it's so nice to watch those two play together ^^ glad that aragonez figured that out, wakaka...

i better keep it down before the swedes come and hang me on de tree ^^

last day in madrid, last day of the trip

spain looks and feels like spain in madrid ^^
i know most msian travellers prefers the tourist highlights in barcelona but i really do like madrid so much more!! with their plazas and fountains and the old spanish style buildings and the history. it´s just so much richer... you´ll probably know wot i mean when u see some pictures, or maybe barca will still win after de pictures, i dun know, hehe...

time flies when everyday is so full of excitation and infomation from every direction ^^
siao this trip....
din know go solo solo is like this de ^.^
anyway, hopefully tmr is going to be a relatively uneventful day. and i can enjoy the slow spain for the last few hours before finally flying back to the ice village in de name of gothenburg ^^

F1 in spanish anyone? de tiny hostel tv is showing it beside me, hehe... but really cant see a thing... it's too tiny... only thing i know is kubi leading, 2nd is probably kimi, alonso spun, gearbox i heard??

din go to dali city in de end, too expensive :P
went to watch my other spanish idol instead, in de name of rafael nadal XD
he absolutely trashed federer on the red clay in roland garros final XD
watching that match with spaniards was a nice experience, and i really cant wait to see how will the atmosphere be when they play russia in euro2008 :)

also went to dali's museum, i just have to see something about him :) they have lots of his relatively unfamous work... as inspiring and as crazy as usual ^.^

leaving for madrid tomorrow, not sure if i'm able to update as often over there.
aish... tired already... but de thought of madrid should replanish me again :)

my legs are numb...
guess i've already covered more than 100km on feet since de trip started ^^

gaudi's park güella is absolutely brilliant... ofcoz it's not the only gaudi's work that i've visited but it's de best so far ^^ too bad there's no usb port to post a preview, you ppl hav to wait til i'm back with my comp. seriously worrying about the memory card capasity...
weather forecast says tomorrow is rainny... will take some indoor tour and leave dali to the last day then.

finally had de seafood rice! it taste so nice... maybe it's bcoz i havnt had any meal on table except de free breakfasts from youth hostels since the trip started. went for a sangria too ^^ really felt the need of alcohol last evening, when i was on the night train. so now i've tasted some real authentic spanish food and drink :)

went to nou camp at the other end of the city ^^ the stadium is so big it's quite impossible to take a good full picture of it. then came back, washed off some dust, and head to the beach :) met a barcelonian guy sergio, he wanted to buy de biscuit i brought from sweden, so i end up offering him and then we started to talk at de beach...

first morning in barcelona,
the walk to the hostel is wicked!
already saw st. jaume....0.0
bloody gaudi....
and the port is just 5mins walk away! beach further ahead, i'm going to bath in the mediterranian!

decided to join a first guided trip to see my idol's village!
not football la...
dali it is ^.^
probably will go tomorrow, today is dedicated to gaudi :)
