the bike trip we've been talking about since autumn is finally underway~~~ destination had been set (randomly) to be the Dight Fall 7.4km away from where we joint the Merri Creek trail, ~250m away from teng's house. Off we go~~~

the number of traillers, walking or biking along the Merri Creek trail has taken me by surprise! And everyone we've been talking to the whole day seems to be very praiseful when it comes to this enormous park that stretches i really dunno from where to where!! and they know their park well! we know that bcoz we've been asking for direction at almost every km we travel... *^*
and u know wot? we actually went off course as early as the 300th m =_= and it's not without a good reason! we could see K.C.Brown's speciality standing high on a hill at the 200th m, so we were distracted. ok, who is that kcbrown? he is our power regeneration lecturer, and fair enough we saw a very high tech windmill... so we went up hill to check things out...
up hill, there's an energy saving "green" housewhole that ppl actually lives in. we visited it and signed the guess bk as "students of Ken Charles Brown", wakaka~~ stepping out of the house, we saw...

omg, bsides all these windmill, water flywheel blablabla, they hav stuffs like these... i used "these" instead of "this" bcoz there are more similar freaky stuffs lying around... and u know wot... there are also farms and nurseries... very happening oh!! ( and very smelly... yuck...)
the background of the freaky zink fish photo is actually a local market. where ppl sells almost everything they think can earn them money... for example...

well, my shadow in the pic is not for sale ofcoz... they sell alot of veggies, knit wears, sewing machines, soaps, used bikes, coffee blablabla...
oh, enough of that, head back to our trail~ u think to travel 7.4km with a bike is easy? oh u really think so? try this slope mate!

scared??? oh poor thing, i'm so sorry... bcoz... the worse is yet to come... there's actually a slope where bikers are asked to dismount =_= and tht's not all, the worst part is we keep going the wrong way....
on our way there, we see a lot of thing la~ like stupid signboard that ask ppl to leash their dogs and tells ppl that snakes are everywhere during oct - march period... and then a very nicely done graffiti art on a bridge pillar... chih feng mate broke his bike's rear axel but managed to continue on... we cross wooden bridges that if u sit on ur seat when u cross, ur butt will be very sorry... and this...

clover tells us it's irish, the word dublin tells us this i forgot his name guy came from dublin, the irish words on top probably tells the irish folks more. rest in peace mate~
after i dunno how long, dunno how many wrong road hav we attempted and dunno how many kind hearted traillers hav we seeked help from, we finally reach our destination!!! yay~~~ as a proof, we thought we better take a pic! ^^

lets picnic while we enjoy the scenary shouldn't we?

helmets off, mat spreaded, start munching~~~
oh no! it's starting to rain!!!
hurry home!!!

ah, there's no time for cycling, how about hopping onto a train?
take a train it is!!! geez... but where is the station??? start asking for direction again... got titik by a few guys, who we think intented good, thanks anyway coz with ur help, we managed to find Clifton Hill Station~~

and off to Flinders St. Station~~ and transit there to somewhere closer to home, or in Chih Feng's case, Cash Converters, haha. after that axel failure, he is selling his bike~~
teng and i still cant escape the faith of cycling home wet from Moreland station. it's super chilly but fun, haha... tht brings the end ^^
